Some time ago I was looking for inspiration in my local bookstore. In the secondhand section, I found this incredible book called Grammar of Ornaments. It features ornamental patterns from all over the world


Simbol is a digital representation of a tree slice. At each iteration a single tree is generated with specific features that can vary between each output.


Recently I dove into Piet Mondrian's work. I've always been fascinated by his geometrical creations. So I thought I would make a humble homage to the Master, by offering my generative interpretation with a pattern twist. This design is the digital version of my pen plotter work, and it brings together 3 editions in one piece.

So I thought I would make a humble homage to the Master, by offering my generative interpretation with a pattern twist. In this chaos version, patterns in yellow, blue and red overlap on black paper, so new colors appear visually where the inks cross.
