I'm Fabax and this is my creative space. Here you'll find designs made with code and drawn by robots.
So if you are looking for original artworks to add to your collection, or if you are just curious to see how I work, you are in the right place.
My Process
1-Code
It might sound counterintuitive but I don't actually make art. I do however create little programs that do it for me. I give them a general set of instructions, but I always make sure to include randomness into the equation. The result is an ever changing (almost living) design that is a collaboration between me and my program.
2-Generate
When I'm satisfied with the results, it's time to take it for a spin. I feed the program different datasets, I play around with variables and some other nerdy things. Until I have generated a good amount of designs. I then select the best ones and export them as files that my pen plotter can read.
3-Draw
Now I can finally bring my creation into the physical world. I pick high quality paper and pens that set on the workstation. My pen plotter takes care of the rest and a couple of hours later we have obtained a unique piece.
